ITINERARY

DAY 1: Next Stop Tarangire National Park

Comfortable drive from Arusha sit back and enjoy the scenic views of the changing vegetation. After, Early breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, after lunch proceed with Game drive then later check out the park & drive to Karatu that located near to Ngorongoro crater for dinner & overnight. In this park, you will discover the true enormity of the deserted termite mounds and ancient baobab trees. The colossal herds of African elephants dominate the golden savannah and screeching flocks of the striking yellow collared lovebird can be heard from miles away. The wildlife that roams the scenic landscape of the Tarangire includes lions, giraffes, warthogs, ostriches, impalas, cheetah, mongoose, buffaloes and baboons.

DAY 2: Next Stop Serengeti National Park (Seronera)

After breakfast in the lodge with your picnic lunch box drive to Serengeti national park via the rim of crater enroute to Serengeti. The drive can be not less than 4 hours. Serengeti is home of thousands of wildlife animal species & some of them join in the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing. Listen to the exotic sounds of over six million hooves pounding the open plains. This is a Dream Destination to spend many nights!

DAY 3: Serengeti National Park (Seronera)

After breakfast, set off on a full day game drive in the wilderness following the Great Migration trails. Our experienced driver tour guide will provide you with interesting facts about this highly renowned event, which makes Tanzania the top safari destination in Africa.

DAY 4: Next Stop Ndutu Conservation Area (Southern Serengeti)

After breakfast, set off for Ndutu area situated in the Ngorongoro conservation area, which is part of the southern Serengeti eco-system. Lake Ndutu like most other rift lakes is alkaline however the water is still drinkable and consumed by a wide array of local wildlife. Over 8000 wildebeests are are given birth in Ndutu, during the calving season on a daily. A best destination to enjoy the calving season other species can be seen in Lake Ndutu area includes giraffe, Elephants, Antelopes, zebra, Lions, Leopard, cheetah & many more.

DAY 5: Next Stop Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, you will enjoy a half day game drive in the Ndutu area exploring a great range of various habitats such as swamps, woodland, soda lakes and the world famous Serengeti short grass plains. You will witness herds of wildebeest and zebras especially during a short time-frame from around February and lasting for about 3 weeks where majority of the wildebeest calve.
The grass provides little cover and the young makes an easy prey for a variety of predators. Wildebeest calves can run minutes after they were born and within 3 days, they are normally strong enough to keep up with the herd. After Lunch departing for Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a dinner & overnight.

DAY 6: Next Stop Arusha

After Early breakfast , descending into the crater for a full day game drive.Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact and unfilled volcanic caldera, and is indeed the flagship tourism attraction of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. It covers an area of 260 square kilometres and extending about 20km in diameter, the crater is actually a huge caldera of a volcano that collapsed to a depth of 610m about three million years ago. Over the course of time, streams of water made their way down the crater to form little ponds and vegetation developed all over, attracting a wide range of wild animals. The crater is host to over 25,000 animals including populations of large mammals such as elephants, buffaloes, elands, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, hippos, and rhinos, as well as such carnivores as lions, hyenas, jackals, and cheetahs. The ponds, or rather small lakes on the floor of the crater also host a wide-range of water birds including flamingos and pelicans. Away from the crater floor, the forests on the crater rim are home to leopards, reedbuck & some other animals. At 14:00pm starts to ascend & check out Ngorongoro conservation Area, departing for Arusha.
